Marboo was established in 2008 as a real estate investment company. Soon the timing turned out not to be favorable due to the worldwide economic circumstances.
As a result, Marboo was never used for real estate investments and has slowly grown to what it is today: a serial company that continuously initiates exploitations based on intellectual property and intangible assets of others.
These exploitations are not about the ownership of IP and IA, but specifically about the alternative right of use.
The company is focused in the broadest sense of business markets, whereby projects are always acquired on our own initiative.
When a business case is feasible, Marboo sets up a new company and select the right partner(s) to lead and built it.
Imaginary wise one can compare Marboo with an idea factory in which the right talent and opportunities are brought together in a single framework.
Generally companies are operated on a long-term basis, but occasionally also positioned with a short-term exit strategy. The latter is usually performed as an internal source of financing.
Although profit maximizing is leading policy, 10% of the revenues are invested in charities and sustainable initiatives, without any return requirements.
